MOCAD off-site — events

House of Annetta

An independent space in Dhaka, turned over to artists. MOCAD's programme away from the museum walls — group shows staged where the city actually lives.

Dhaka, Bangladesh · Independent space · Free entry

About the house

A domestic space for public art.

House of Annetta keeps its rooms at house scale. Works hang at arm's length rather than above a crowd, and the boundary between exhibition and everyday life stays deliberately thin — which is exactly why the museum stages events here.

MOCAD partners with the house for off-site programmes: group presentations, screenings and talks, free to walk in on the dates they run. Everything presented at the house is documented below — posters, rooms and the press of people who came through.
